KnightDrmz Searching in the Moonlight, TD
Welcome to the web site that features Darby, our golden retriever, owned and loved by Jeff & Becky Douglas
Becky brought Darby home when she was 8 weeks old. She was breed by Robin Scott in Eustis Florida. Her sire is CH LYCINAN'S BIG BANG CDX, JH, WC, VC and her dam is Deauxquest Oh What A Knight VCD1 CDX OAJ so she has an impressive pedigree.

Congratulations -- After completing the 4-day National Animal Assisted Crisis Response training workshop, Becky and Darby are 1 of only 5 teams currently in Florida to be certified as an Animal Assisted Crisis Response (AACR) team!
Becky earned her Dog Obedience Trainer/Instructor Career Diploma from Penn Foster Career School.
Darby passed her AKC Tracking Dog Test on October 21st 2007 under AKC Tracking Judges Joe Hamzy and Jane Craig. Darby's track was 455 yards with 4 turns and 47 minutes old.

As part of the requirements to participate in the Star Bright Therapy Dogs programs, Darby and Becky have been certified as a Therapy dog team with the Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs.
Darby was certified to be able to participate in an AKC Tracking Dog Test by AKC Tracking Judge Ron Seeley at 6 months of age. She is a natural tracker.
Jeff and Becky recently attended the Scaredy Dog Seminar by Ali Brown. Based on her new book, Scaredy Dog! Understanding and Rehabilitating your Reactive Dog, this full-day (8-hour) seminar addresses the concept of Reactivity and teaches trainers and dog-training clubs how to run classes for reactive dogs. The seminar was wonderfully informative and supportive for owners of reactive dogs.
Jeff and Becky Douglas support participation in dog sports and other recreational activities that depend on canine partners; in law enforcement and search and rescue missions; dogs used as companions and helpers under the ADA; as Therapy Dogs; the voluntary sterilization and identification of pets, and reasonable efforts to rescue unwanted dogs for placement in new homes. We also back the responsible breeding and showing of purebred dogs and oppose coercive legislation aimed at breeders.
Feel free to browse around and we invite you to come back often as we are adding more content.
